King Protea

Protea cynaroides, also known as the King Protea or Giant Protea, is the largest of all Proteas. It is the national flower of South Africa and one of the oldest flower species in the world. She is impressively large and insanely beautiful; the outer, pointed leaves form a cup or shell around the hundreds of petals and stamens inside. The King Protea is available in various breathtaking colors, such as red, pink and white.
